Engineer · Operator · Builder · Miami

I build systems at the intersection of automation, finance, and policy.

Traders Guild and Turing Strategy now. Convergence Foundation and Friktion Labs before. Software engineering across healthcare, education, manufacturing, and event tech before that. Stanford. Six years of building. Writing at liquid-labor.com.

Currently considering the next chapter.

I · Why I Build

Two banners I keep coming back to.

In 1602, a handful of Dutch merchants designed the first joint-stock company. Shares, exchanges, multinationals: financial primitives we are still living inside four hundred years later. Its history is also colonial, violent, and unredeemable in important ways. I don't romanticize it. But the engineering lesson is permanent. Institutions are infrastructure, and infrastructure is built by people who refuse to accept the existing one. That's why Traders Guild operates under the Dutch East India banner, connecting the institutional capital stack across TradFi and DeFi.

In 1936, Alan Turing wrote a paper that defined computation itself. A pencil-and-paper proof became the foundation for every machine you'll ever touch. One person, sitting with first principles long enough, redrew the substrate the rest of us get to stand on. That's why Turing Strategy exists, backing the teams building the physical layer of the automation transition: humanoid robotics, drones, autonomous systems. Last mover advantage in American robotics.

Underneath both, the same person: an engineer. I've shipped code in crypto, robotics-adjacent capital, telehealth, edtech, manufacturing, and event tech. The thread is constant. Design the right primitive, then build the thing that wouldn't exist without it.

II · Now

Three concurrent things, and the writing that ties them together.

Traders Guild

CEO · Dec 2021 → Present · 4 yrs+

A global network connecting the institutional capital stack across TradFi and DeFi, operating under the Dutch East India banner. Capital introductions, exchange onboarding, institutional DeFi access across Solana, Ethereum, and Arbitrum, and curated events with partners including StoneX and Cantor Fitzgerald during iConnections / Global Alts and Consensus. 4,000+ followers, 500+ institutional connections. Events in Miami, NY, London.

Turing Strategy

Managing Director · Sep 2025 → Present

A series of SPVs investing in the physical layer of the automation transition. The companies building the robots, drones, and autonomous systems that will reshape productive capacity over the next decade. Portfolio includes Apptronik (humanoid robotics), drone companies, and other robotics firms at the intersection of embodied AI and real-world deployment. Thesis: last mover advantage in American robotics. The teams that solve hardware reliability, energy efficiency, and fleet economics at scale will define the next era.

Liquid Labor

Writing · liquid-labor.com

Long-form essays at the intersection of markets, machines, and human work. The slow, personal counterpart to the building. Less product, more first principles. If capital can be tokenized, fragmented, and routed in milliseconds, labor deserves the same dignity of design. That's the throughline.

III · Track Record

Six years across crypto, robotics, healthcare, education, and the seams in between.

The headline names are below. Some of them succeeded; some of them I unwound. I'd rather have shipped and learned than not have shipped at all. What you're looking at is a builder who has actually written code in production, run companies, allocated capital, and navigated cycles end-to-end.

Managing Directorat Turing Strategy · Delaware

Series of SPVs investing in the physical layer of automation: humanoid robotics, drones, autonomous systems. Apptronik and others. Thesis: last mover advantage in American robotics.

Chief Executive Officerat Traders Guild · Global

Global network connecting the institutional capital stack across TradFi and DeFi. Capital intros, exchange onboarding, institutional DeFi access, curated events with StoneX, Cantor Fitzgerald, and others. 4,000+ followers, 500+ institutional connections.

Portfolio Managerat Coinchange

Regulated digital asset wealth management for institutional and accredited investors. Managed diversified crypto portfolios across CeFi/DeFi yield strategies (lending, liquidity provision, structured products) with risk-adjusted returns and systematic allocation discipline.

Chief Executive Officerat Convergence Foundation · Solana

Built Convergence RFQ: institutional-grade liquidity for DeFi on Solana and Arbitrum. On-chain RFQ networks for crypto options, futures, and perpetual swaps. Self-custody derivatives, partnerships with Eulith. Raised $2.5M pre-seed. Wound down July 2025: the technology worked, the market timing didn't. Honest receipts beat polished pitch decks.

Co-Founderat Friktion Labs · Solana

DeFi structured products on Solana. Built the Volts portfolio management platform, designed to perform across market cycles. Became Solana's largest options protocol and the third largest across networks, with $100M+ TVL before shutting down when costs outpaced revenue.

Software Engineerat Gramercy Tech · Manhattan, NY

Event-based technology agency. Event management applications and RFID systems for tracking participant activity at large-scale events.

Senior Lead Software Engineerat MS Companies · Indianapolis, IN

Workforce solutions for the manufacturing industry. Custom software, IT services, and HR systems, bridging manufacturing and tech with data-driven tooling.

Software Engineer (Contract)at eMed Digital Healthcare · Boca Raton, FL

Telehealth platform. At-home testing and 24/7 "Test to Treat" diagnostics. GLP-1 / GIP management for chronic care.

Software Engineerat Honorlock · Boca Raton, FL

Online proctoring platform. AI tools and live proctors for higher-ed and certification programs. Webcam, screen-capture, exam integrity at scale.

Advisory Committee Memberat City of Fort Lauderdale, Affordable Housing Committee

Reviewed policies, ordinances, and land development regulations. Recommended data-driven actions to encourage affordable housing while protecting property value. The city you live in is infrastructure too.

Education
Stanford University

Coursework spanning the disciplines that show up everywhere else on this page: systems, computation, and the policy edges of new technology.

IV · Writing

Liquid Labor. Long-form, half-formed, occasionally finished.

I write to think. Most of it lives at liquid-labor.com: essays on markets, machines, work, and the weird edges where they collide. The slow, personal counterpart to the engineering. Less product, more first principles.

V · Stance

A short note on how I work.

I'm not a "tech founder." I don't optimize for narrative, valuation theater, or the next conference stage.

I optimize for systems that work. That hold up under load, under adversaries, under the slow grind of years.

Engineering, at its best, is a moral stance: you build things that do what they say they do. You ship work that survives contact with reality. You take responsibility for the seams.

Some of what I've built is still running. Some of it I unwound. The willingness to close a chapter honestly is part of the job.
